VIVA GLAM!

Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga have joined forces with MAC Cosmetics to become the new faces of MAC's Viva Glam campaign for Spring/Summer 2010. Any Viva Glam lipstick or lipglass purchased raises money for the MAC Aids Foundation. Both Cyndi and Gaga have their very own shade of lipstick which sell for $14. They will be available at every MAC store on March 18, 2010.

Encino Man Meets the Olsen Twins

Remember that scene in Encino Man when Sean Astin was trying to find his caveman bff Brendan Fraser (pre hair plugs) by following a trail of muddy handprints and boob prints, only to find Link getting it on in the bathtub with a cavewomen? Maybe you dont, but that is the first thing I thought of when I saw the new lookbook for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Spring/Summer 2010 collection for The Row.

The collection is simply contructed, using neutral colours and basic lines. There is a futuristic minimalist vibe to the entire collection which is balanced by the usage of mud, twigs, grass, and flowers as accessories.

Elizabeth & James LookBook

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have released the lookbook for their Elizabeth & James Spring/Summer 2010 collection. This collection was said to be inspired by the 1980's New York fashion scene. This is the twins first collection that features both men and women's clothing.

The lookbook was shot by Roderick Angle and features black and white images. While the black and white images create an artsy feel and make the clothing seem more edgy, black and white images aren't the best way to display your clothing. I have no idea what the colour scheme for the collection is, or what textures or patterns they're using. Other than that complaint, I am a big fan of the Elizabeth & James line and this new collection.
