Nicole Richie is giving us a first look at her Fall/Winter 2010 collection for her Winter Kate line. This time around the designs are a little darker than previous collections. Richie said she was inspired by a 2001 Johnny Depp movie: “My main source of inspiration was this movie called From Hell,” Richie told us. “It’s about the free masons and Jack the Ripper so it’s definitely about that time [period]. We have capes and cigarette pants, vests, jackets and blazers. There are cleaner lines and it’s a lot more simple.”Winter Kate lovers shouldn't worry about an over-the-top gothic look. She still incorporates feminine touches to the collection. Flowy dressed, tailored pieces, and pops of colour are all still present.
