A Spike Lee Joint

Canadian model/Sean Lennon's bestie, Irina Lazareanu , has landed a lead role in Spike Lee's upcoming romantic comedy. The director hand picked the model to star in his highly anticipated movie.

This isn't the first time Lazareanu has branched away from modelling. She's openly talked about her growing disinterest in being just a pretty face and her search for more meaning in her work.

Lazareanu is currently working on a solo album with son of John Lennon, Sean. She has also performed during one of Chanel's runway shows; her music acted as the soundtrack for the show.
